Patches & Ranges

The Patches and Ranges form can be used to set the note ranges of the MIDI patches, or the patch-names themselves. (Changing the patch-names will not affect the sound.)

You will first be prompted to select a bank using the Bank Select form.

Select a Patch, then adjust the From and To values in the fields on the right.

To apply changes to only the current session of MIDImage, press the Set Changes button.

To save changes to disk for use in all further sessions, press the Save Ranges button. Be aware that updating/upgrading the MIDImage program will most likely wipe out any changes you've made, and revert the ranges to the original values. To insure aganst this, save a copy of the modified .bank file before upgrading or updating the program.
